History
The Seven Slot Grille is owned by Doug and Christy Wallace. Our restaurant features home-cooked meals, homemade soups, and even our own home-baked breads (Raisin, Whole Wheat, White, Rye, Sourdough, Sub Buns, Hamburger Buns, Dinner Rolls, Bagels, and Biscuits)! We make our own BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, Cole Slaw, and Marinades, with no corn syrup used as preservatives or sweeteners! We have weekly lunch and breakfast specials!
The Seven Slot Grille opened January 21, 2008, has also been known as "Nu Star", "Tall Moose Cafe", Recipe", "Coffee Haus", and "Renee's", which gives this location over 45 years as a family-owned and operated restaurant. Seven Slot Grille has made many changes since it opened in 2008 and we plan to continue to grow and make it the best dining experience we can for you. We are proud of the quality, portion size, and (most importantly) our dedication to the "family dining experience".
We opened Seven Slot Grille with the intention of giving our children some practical work experience, to instill some sort of work ethic. We both worked as kids, and believe it may have helped us become the hard-working, driven people we are today. Our children, employees, and customers are very much a part of Seven Slot Grille.
